About the Artist
I was born in 1983 in the small town of Kameshkovo (Vladimir region, Russia). For as long as I can remember, creating art has been an essential part of who I am.
In 2013, I moved to the Netherlands, where I taught visual arts to children and created stage designs for children's performances. In 2024, I graduated from the Groningen Klassieke Academie and now actively participate in exhibitions.
Working primarily in traditional oil on canvas or panels, my practice centers on portraiture. For me, a portrait is far more than a physical likeness; it is an exploration of the human spirit. I strive to capture the subtle inner states, fleeting moods, and inherent beauty of my subjects, who serve as my constant source of inspiration.
The greatest joy in my work lies in the quiet breakthroughs—the exact moment a precise line or expressive brushstroke reveals something completely unique and previously unseen.
